Inhabit Education Books is proud to add a new series to our catalogue: Spencer the Siksik! Read on to learn about this exciting collection of books and how they can be used to introduce readers to Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit principles.

Spencer the Siksik is imaginative, creative, caring, and full of energy. He loves playing outside with his best friend Gary the Snow Goose and spending time with his family, especially his grandmother. He's always learning new lessons about how to be a good member of his community.

Authors Nadia Sammurtok and Shawna Thomson developed this series to introduce young readers to the Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit principles in a fun, accessible way. Each book in this series follows Spencer the Siksik as he learns about one of the IQ principles.
